Mike was home with me today and we got a few more errands done. Sure was a hot one out there! Finalized what we're going to eat on the wedding day (yes, had to think about that too!). Also sorted out all the timelines for the guys and the girls. Sharon said Madison has her dress and the boys will hopefully have their tuxes Tues or Wed. Dad is getting his tux tomorrow. He called the store and was told it was in. Everything is coming together. I think this is going to be one of the longest weeks ever...

A Great Sunday!

It was a beautiful day today, and early afternoon Mom & Dad stopped in on their way back from Sarnia. It was nice as we got to spend Father's Day with Dad :) Sharon & Craig had met Mom & Dad in Sarnia and delivered our wedding flutes from Lori & Roger in Ohio. They are beautiful! We'll be taking them to the Black Forest Inn to use on our wedding day. Just after Mom & Dad left for Richmond Hill, Gertrude pulls up the driveway! So, we had an awesome surprise visit with her. All in all, it was a great day.

We picked up our rings! We went and saw the florist and confirmed everything is just right. I wrapped all the bridal party gifts and completed all the seating place cards. So much accomplished, but we were zapped at the end of the day. I fell asleep during the movie we were watching :)

I am so excited! I had my second hair trial today and loved it. I gave Keith 2 different "inspiration" pictures and told him to make his own creation somewhere in between. Well, he exceeded my expectations! Mike approves too. I had already made up my mind though LOL!

I also had my FINAL dress fitting complete with shoes, crinoline and veil. It fits perfectly, and partnered with my hair trial which I loved, I really was pleased. Can't wait for the wedding now!

Can't believe it's Friday already and my first official day of vacation!

3 appointments today, wow! Hope I can manage them all. It's absolutely beautiful out today and I've already been out working in the garden.

We've had a few changes in our guest list so back to the drawing board with the table seating. I knew it was completed way too easily.

Figures I'd be wide awake at 6 a.m. when I don't have to go in to work!

Well, this is my last day of work. I have Friday and next week off to attend to many appointments and fine details. I can't believe this day is actually here! Mike and I have an appointment after work today with the photographer too to go over all the fine details of the wedding shoot. One of my coworkers is taking me out for an ice cream sundae lunch. Looking forward to that :)

Can't believe I got this 100% done within an hour! I had 1 or 2 questions for Mike, then it was done! It helped cutting out everyone's names and playing with them like a puzzle. It worked! I thought this was going to be the most difficult part, but it's all come together!

Numbers changed slightly and have been added to final number confirmation at Black Forest Inn. We have 80 people now for sure, and 3 tentative.

We are less than 2 weeks now, wow! All the final little details are being looked at and sorted out.

I must start working on the seating plan... the fun part!

Florist is all finalized, limo stuff 99% sorted out and will finish next week. Have to pick up my dress after the final fitting and our rings! This is really getting exciting now :)

I had a small 50th Birthday party on June 9th and it was awesome. My birthday was actually June 11th and I made it through the big 50 just fine.

Well, the day began with dentist appointments for both Mike and I, but we got that over with early. No cavities for either of us, yeah! We did a lot of little errands including buying plants for a new planter we got for the back deck. It looks sweet! Both of us absolutely love looking for plants. We visited EJ's and sorted out the reservation for the rehearsal dinner. Email sent to those attending too for what we need from you. Another very productive day. We've had rain and sun, perfect for the lawn and the new plants!
