Mike and I are doing great and enjoying married life :)

We are off to Hamilton General very early tomorrow morning for my angiogram. We hope all goes well and that the surgery will come very quickly afterwards. Will try and keep everyone posted.

Changing my Name

Wow, what an experience! The name change from De Silva to Frim is coming along, slow but sure. At work I am now Barbara Frim, and on some of my credit cards and bank accounts. Every single institution has their own rules for changing your name, so I'm trying to get it all done. I find it very frustrating though that you can't change the MTO records, nor your health card until you receive the actual wedding certificate (not for about another 2 months). Finally today, Facebook changed my name to Frim :) That was a big accomplishment on it's own as they thought it was a fake name. So, I can still legally use Miller, De Silva and Frim, depending on who I am dealing with :P

Wedding Day

The wedding day was absolutely perfect! We couldn't have asked for better weather, and things just seemed to fall into place.

Mike was very nervous the day of, and actually twisted his button right off his tux jacket before the service. At least he had 2 buttons! Mike has his moments during the service but managed to live through it. I smiled throughout 99% of the service and was calm the entire day.

Pat Fretwell was perfect as our officient, made it very personal and relaxed. Our limo driver from Brentwood was incredible, definitely went the extra mile. Can't say enough about Black Forest Inn. The food & service was amazing. We believe our friends and family all had a great evening at the reception.

All in all it was a truly incredible day, definitely one we'll never forget.

Can't believe it, but 1 day left. Had my manicure & pedicure this morning. Heard about the boys adventures the night before, then said goodbye to Mike who was off for his tux fitting. Heard from Sharon very late last night and from Lori this morning, who is now enroute from Ohio :) Heard from Janet who wishes she was here rather than working til later today. Woo hoo, rehearsal tonight. Better get busy. This is so exciting!

I have my dress, hoping to store it at my neighbour's til Saturday. Daryl's plane should have landed, so we will see him shortly. Mike's finally on holidays now, and really tired. Hopefully he can catch up a little bit tomorrow. Mom Frim is in Kitchener at Hilde's. Took Carrie for her "final" dress fitting today at lunch, and nope, one more adjustment before it's just right. She'll be going to get the dress for 6 p.m. after work today. I have Janet's dress here with me and hopefully it will be purrfect just the way it is. Received phone call from Sharon while getting Madison's nails done, trying to determine the "right" colour to get :) It's all coming together. Just a few things on the agenda for tomorrow... no big deal!

I'm picking up Carrie at noon to take her to her final dress fitting, then I'm bringing home all of our dresses! Woo hoo! Now, if I can find a place to store them where the kitties won't get at them. I don't want black fur all over my dress. Another beautiful day outside!

Well, I got everything done today that I had to but it didn't hit me until tonight that Aaron and Daryl are both arriving tomorrow! This week has flown by soooooooooooooo fast! It's Thursday tomorrow. Wow!

Poor Mike worked a 13 1/2 hour day today so he's beat. I'm sure he'll be pumped tomorrow night when Daryl arrives though :)

Guess I better look at my list of things to do for tomorrow.... later...

OH my gosh... the time is getting nearer and nearer! Thank goodness I'm off work this week! I have a few errands this morning at Sunrise Centre, then I'm off to Black Forest Inn to take everything in for the wedding. I have checked twice, and I think I have everything on my list. Called the Heuther and that's all organized too.

The boys look awesome in their tuxes according to Sharon. Sharon had to take the boys to Windsor to pick up their tuxes on Tuesday night. I can't wait to see the entire crew in their tuxes. Oh my, they are going to look sweeeeeeeeeeeeet! Aaron promised me today he will make his flight on Thursday!
